B. Get a Yahoo ID. Under "Sign In" choose "Click here to register". If you already have a Yahoo ID move to step #2. Be sure to remember both your ID and password as you will need them.
C. Edit your profile. We're open to working photographers, assistants and photography students and we need to see it in your Yahoo ID. To edit your profile click on "edit" next to your Yahoo ID. On the next screen select "Edit Profile Information". The following minimal information is required:
- your First and Last name (both are required)
- your City/State
- a one-sentence description of who you are (professionally), in the field
labeled "Latest News". If you are an APA member, also indicate the chapter.
Indicate your website if you have one. And don't forget to "Save Changes" at the bottom.
D. Join APAnet. This screen may ask you to enter your Yahoo ID and password information before allowing you to proceed. You should see a description of our group, and information for setting up your APAnet membership. Make sure your profile is selected, and click the [join] button at the bottom of the screen, which sends your request to us.
This does not mean you are active just yet. We review all applications and approve new subscribers on a daily basis. If there is a problem with your application a message will be sent that asks you to correct your Yahoo ID. Please follow those directions.
