HOW TO JOIN: ONLINE
1) Complete the APA STU ONLINE Application in the JOIN section.
2) Annual dues are $55; we accept all major credit cards.
3) APA STU membership is not valid until we verify that you are a student.
4) To Verify Student Status, please promptly fax (888-889-7190) or USmail a photo copy of your Student ID or class schedule
5) Include a statement of your expected graduation date to complete the Student Status Verification process
6) If you do not provide Student Status Verification within one week, your membership is void; a partial credit ($30) will be issued
7) There is a $25 service charge for failure to promptly provide Student Status Verification
8) You will receive a Confirmation email with your APA ID number and access info for online benefits
9) Once you have your APA ID number you can contact APAinsures directly to get an APA STU policy
HOW TO JOIN: PAPER APPLICATION
1. Download, complete and return an APA STU Application from the JOIN section
2. Annual dues are $55; we accept checks, money orders, AMEX, MC, or VISA
3. Include a photo copy of your Student ID or class schedule to Verify Student Status
4. Include a statement of your expected graduation date
5. Use our secure fax or USmail your payment, ID copy, grad date, and Application to the address on the form
6. Applications are processed within 1-2 days from when they are received
7. You will receive a Confirmation email with your APA ID number and access info for online benefits
8. Once you have your APA ID number you can contact APAinsures directly to get an APA STU policy

APA STUDENT REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS
• Full or part-time students studying photography at a high school or college level, with proof of enrollment
• APA STU membership does NOT automatically include an APAinsures policy, which can be purchased separately
• STU members do have a SearchAPA record and member access, but STU members do NOT appear in SearchAPA
• To be entitled to a SearchAPA Assistant Profile, please join as an Assistant (AST) member
• To be entitled to a SearchAPA Photographer Profile, please join as an Emerging (EMG) Photographer member
• You can upgrade your membership category anytime with no loss of dues (dues will be prorated)
