With ‘ink in her blood’ and an eye towards photography, WorkBook Associate Publisher Leslie Edelman’s first job out of college was colorizing black & white films for Ted Turner at American Film Technologies. That technology was then leveraged for the first-ever paperless animation studio and series, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Finding her way home to San Francisco, Leslie has worked and produced for GAP (Old Navy, GapKids, Banana Republic) Black Rocket, Ogilvy, The Richards Group, Hal Riney/Publicis, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Wells Fargo and some incredibly talented photographers, videographers, designers, interactive genies and a host of terrific clients.
As Advertising Sales Director, Suzanne Semnacher had a key role in growing Workbook advertising sales from city-wide to encompass all major regions of California, and aiding in the expansion into the national market. She has worked on the print production of Workbook products in the United States, Japan and Italy. Suzanne helped to launch the Stock Workbook, was later named Associate Publisher, and played a significant role in the launch of Workbook Stock. Suzanne also assisted in the conceptualization and launch of Single Image in 1990, Workbook’s adjunct publication for 14 years. As Sales Director, Suzanne continues to provide marketing support and creative consultation to clients in the photography, illustration and design fields, for both the print and online venues of Workbook.
